Photo shoots are fun and exhausting. They're fun because you often get to wear a variety of costumes and try out all sorts of poses, jumps and balances. They're exhausting because after a couple of hours of jumping and posing....well, you get the idea.

All of the studio photos at the link below were shot by Rex Tranter. As you can tell in some of the shots, we did this the old-fashioned way with me jumping as high as I can naturally and Rex working his magic to catch me at just the right second. Rex has tons of experience photographing dance and two daughters who dance. He knows the art form well, including the vernacular. I'm always amazed at his great suggestions for optimizing or improving a shot. I'm grateful that I was able to work with him.

The performance photos were taken during a performance or dress rehearsal. They span several years.
